Inclusive for all, Body Positive Yoga is a welcoming and supportive place for people who identify as fat, have chronic pain, illness or simply did not feel comfortable attending a different Yoga Studio. We have a lovely LGBTIQ+ community and welcome you whatever your orientation, injury, level of ability or level of experience. 

We are different to all other studios in that we are trauma aware and compassion focused. Where possible, we make workshops accessible and offer subsidised places to those who struggle financially (without making you jump through hoops). 

Beginners are welcomed and nurtured. 


We run specialist "Fat Yoga" events and retreats throughout the year to continue to provide safe spaces for our amazing community of people of size. 

  • Arriving on on time is key, due to relaxation starting a couple of minutes past the hour we cannot allow people in after that.

  • Wear anything you like which is comfy and you can move in.

  • Classes are body positive and trauma aware and our teachers need to know if there is anything they can do help support your experience or your body for the class. Bodies change all the time so tell you teacher if anything new comes up!

  • Make changes to your class up to 48 hours in advance via the app below.

  • Class passes have expiry periods. 100 days for 10 pass, 50 days for 5 pass and 14 days for single pass. These are one of the longest times in Melbourne!

  • Have fun! Yoga is a beautiful and accessible practice in all our spaces.
